Argentina's seafood exports up by 20% during October
Argentina is a prominent seafood importer and exporter. Argentina's major seafood exports include shrimps, frozen fish, squids, shellfish, etc. According to the Argentina import export data reports, there was 18% growth in year on year increase in Argentina’s seafood exports. Currently, the country's seafood exports hit record high. There was 20% growth in Argentina's seafood exports. Argentina export data shows over $6.5 billion worth of seafood exports for the financial year 2023. Over 138,547 MT of seafood exports shipments were made during the third quarter. Spain, South Korea and China were the top destinations for Argentina's seafood exports. Spain was responsible for over 71% share in Argentina's overall seafood exports. Whereas, China covered over 22% market share. Also, minor growth in exports to Uruguay, Portugal and the United States was seen during this year.
