Indonesia to reduce its garlic imports up to 40% by next year

  Indonesia is a prominent importer of agricultural products. Indonesia is the world's leading garlic importer. Indonesia is a potential jewellery exporter. The global import export data show that Indonesia is the 12th leading jewellery exporter globally. It was the 20th most shipped product from Indonesia. In recent years, the Indonesian jewellery export market has shown frequent growth across the United Arab Emirates, Switzerland and Jordan market. The historical Indonesia import export data reflects that Indonesia has exported over $3.75 billion worth of jewellery across the global market in FY 2022. There was around a 16% increase in the jewellery. Switzerland was among the top importer of jewellery from Indonesia during FY 2022. Indonesia eases the ban on live cattle imports from Australia

  Over the years, Indonesia has emerged as the biggest market for Australia's live cattle exports. As per Indonesia import export data reports, around 303k live cattles were imported from Australia last year. Whereas, this year, the live cattle export shipment crossed over 155K. Indonesia customs data shows that the country's cattle imports totaled to be $564 million in FY 2022. During this period, Australia was the only country responsible for over live cattle exports to Indonesia.  These include beef, cluding calves, buffalo and purebred breeding. Beef was the most imported live cattle imported by Indonesia from Australia with worth over $362 million responsible for over 70% share in the Indonesian imports. Indonesia to revive its apparel industry amid falling exports

  Indonesia is the 13th biggest market for clothing and accessories. Over the years, Indonesian exports have seen frequent growth but it is declining since last year. According to the Indonesia import export data reports, textiles exports were $4.2 billion in 2020, while it was $11 billion during 2021. Indonesia's textiles exports grew to $12 billion in 2022. Whereas, during 2023, Indonesia’s textiles exports volume dropped by 15% to 1.5 million tons. From March 2022 to March 2023, Indonesia’s textiles exports dropped by 10%. The United States is the top market for Indonesia's textiles exports. The United States  has over 19% in Indonesia’s total textile exports. The United States was responsible for over $5.2 million worth of textiles in 2021. Imports of Arecanut From Indonesia Grew in FY23

  Indonesia was the top areca nuts exporter in the world followed by Thailand, Sri Lanka, and Singapore. But over the years, there is a rise in imports of areca nuts by Indonesia. Around 220% year on year rise in imports of areca nuts by Indonesia. Indonesia import data suggests that around 1.5 million dollars of areca nut imports in 2021 with over 0.53% share of total Indonesian imports.
