Wooden Furniture is the world's 100th most traded item. Its market is estimated around $31 billion. China is the leading wooden furniture exporter globally. Whereas, the United States is the top importer of wooden furniture items in the world. The US import export data suggests that the overall wooden furniture imports of the country recorded $38 billion worth last year. Around 103,593 import shipments of wooden furniture goods were recorded by the USA in the last year.  Vietnam and China were the two biggest wooden furniture exporters to the USA. US import data shows that Vietnam and China were responsible for 35% and 21% share of US furniture imports.   The United States is the world's biggest market for cement imports. US import export data shows around 26 million metric tons of cement during last year. The total worth was estimated to be $2 billion dollars. Japan was the biggest supplier of hydraulic cement to the United States with 48% share. Japan along with Spain (24%), China (15%), and France (9%) were the top cement suppliers.  Whereas, there were some notable amounts of shipments from Canada, Germany, Vietnam, Norway and Taiwan. Royal White Cement, Cimsa Americas Cement and Cemeco Trade were among the leading US import companies for cement. The US has surpassed the top LNG gas exporters like Qatar and Australia during last year and became the world's leading LNG supplier. As per the US import export data , the country’s overall LNG exports were estimated to be around 92 MMT of LNG in 2023 with over 14% increase as compared to the previous year. USA's thermal coal exports up amid rising demand in Asian market

The United States has some rich reserves of coal. According to the US import export data reports around 85 million short tons of coal was exported. In which, steam coal contributed to over 44% share in USA's overall coal exports whereas thermal amounted for over 55% share. This year's thermal coal exports crossed 23 million tonnes during August months as compared to 18 million tonnes during the same period.  USA's coal exports were mostly to Colombia, Russia, Indonesia, Mexico, Vietnam and Kazakhstan. US export data shows that Colombia accounted for maximum coal import shipments from the USA worth over $82 million during last fiscal year.
