  India is the world’s leading IT hub. So, there is huge demand for personal computers and accessories. These include computers, desktops, notebooks, laptops, and workstations. One main reason behind the increase in India’s PC imports is the ease in the import restrictions on laptops, tablets, and other computer devices. The latest India import export data shows that India accounted for record personal computers imports during October month. During October 2023, India made over $554 million worth of PC imports. Whereas, India’s overall PC imports were estimated to be around $3.8 billion in FY 2023. China was the top computer supplier to India with over 90% share. Other notable computer suppliers are Taiwan, Vietnam, Singapore, Malaysia, United States, Hong Kong, Japan and Indonesia.
