Turkish Export to Africa hit record $21B in FY22
Tukey has been the crucial trading partner of Africa. Over the years, the exports from Turkey to Africa have seen an upward trend. According to the Turkey import export data record, the Turkish exports hit a record 21 billion dollars to Africa in the financial year 2022. As compared to the last year Turkey customs data , there was around 12% increase in the exports from Turkey to Africa. Egypt was the leading importer of Turkish goods with imports worth around 4 billion US Dollars. Other major contributors to the Turkish exports were Morocco, Libya, Algeria and South Africa. As per Turkey export data , the top product exports were textiles, machinery, ceramics, marbles, cosmetics, agriculture goods, electrical equipment and food processing units. Top 5 African countries by Turkish Exports Egypt Exports to Egypt increased by 30% in the financial year 2022. Turkish exports to Egypt were around 4 billion us dollars.
