  Turkey is among the leading exporter of carpets and rugs globally. It is among the most exported commodities from Turkey. According to Turkey import export data reports, the overall carpets and its textile floor coverings exports are worth around $2.6 billion during fiscal year 2023.  The United States was responsible for 28% market share of Turkey's overall carpet exports. Among the leading markets for Turkey's carpet exports were Saudi Arabia, Iraq, United Kingdom, Germany and the United Arab Emirates. Milat Carpet Industry, Empera, ESMA, and Valentis Home were the Turkish carpets export companies with a notable amount of shipments last year.  Among which Turkey’s knitted carpets exports were estimated to be $55 million in the last fiscal year.
