Russia, "the world's largest wheat exporter"

  Russia is the world's biggest wheat importer. Russia contributes around 14% of the global wheat exports. Whereas, the United States, Canada, Australia, Ukraine and France are other leading wheat exporters after Russia.  As per Russia Trade Data , the country's total wheat exports were 15% more as compared to the fiscal year 2021. In 2021, Russia's wheat exports were estimated at around 8.8 billion dollars. Whereas, these figures have changed to 13 billion dollars in 2022. In the earlier months, these wheat exports had declined due to the Ukraine invasion. Later from July to December 2022, Russia's wheat exports gained momentum.   Sorghum is an important agri export commodity of Australia. Australia is the world's 3rd biggest sorghum exporter after the United States and Argentina. According to the Australia customs data reports, around 2100 million metric tons worth sorghum was exported from Australia during the fiscal year 2022. China was the top sorghum exporter from Australia with exports worth over 378 million dollars. Whereas other major sorghum importers from Australia were Japan, Kenya, Taiwan, and Philippines. In terms of worldwide sorghum exports, Australia is facing stiff competition from China, Japan and Kenya while Australia's sorghum exports to Botswana, Uruguay and Ukraine have declined significantly. Turkey to seek $15B textile exports by 2023

  Being the world's 5th largest textile exporter, Turkey is expecting positive growth for the financial year 2023. There was a minor increase in Turkey's textiles exports this year. According to the Turkey customs data reports, around 12.9 billion dollars exports were recorded for Turkey this year. Compared to last year, it was just 0.6% more. Textiles is the 3rd largest exported commodity from Turkey. Turkey’s textiles exports remained stable throughout the year. The Turkish government is aiming for 15 billion dollars textile exports by 2023. Turkey export data suggests that the major buyers of Turkish textiles were mainly European and African countries. In 2022, Turkey exported over 5.5 billion dollars to leading European destinations. There was a shortfall of 5% in comparison to FY 2021. Argentina's wheat exports to reach record high in FY 23

  Wheat is an important agri export commodity of Argentina. Argentina is ranked the 7th largest exporter in the world. It covers over 6.4% of global wheat exports share. Around 60% of Argentina's wheat is exported. According to the Argentina import export data reports, around 11 million metric tonnes of wheat was exported during the financial year 2022. During this period, Argentina's wheat exports totaled 3.2 billion dollars. There was around 5% increase in Argentina's wheat exports as compared to last year's 2.75 billion dollars exports.   Over the years, USA's fig imports have increased significantly. The United States is the 4th largest figs importer in the world. According to the US import data , the United States figs imports had seen a 13% rise during April 2023. Earlier in March 2023, there was a 27% rise in figs imports by the USA.  As per US customs data reports , around 6 million dollars worth figs were imported in April 2023. The top figs suppliers to the United States during this period were Turkey responsible for over 84% of the total USA's figs imports. While other major markets for US figs imports were Mexico and China. The United States is a significant exporter of figs. As per US export data , around 11 million dollars worth figs were exported by the US during FY 2021.   Brazil is the second largest cotton exporter in the world after the United States. For the financial year 2022, Brazil's cotton exports grew by 9%. According to the Brazil import export data reports, cotton exports from Brazil accounted for around 3.9 billion dollars. Compared to last year, Brazil's cotton exports were 3.2 billion dollars. Pakistan grabs a deal to export rice in Russian Market

  Pakistan is currently the 4th largest exporter of rice globally. According to the Pakistan export data reports, Pakistan's rice exports were estimated around 2.5 billion dollars during the fiscal year 2022. The major destinations for the exports of rice from Pakistan were China, Kazakhstan, United Arab Emirates, Malaysia and Afghanistan. China covers over 17% of Pakistan's total rice exports.   Kazakhstan's agricultural sector is continuously booming. Last year, Kazakhstan's agri exports saw tremendous growth. Kazakhstan is stepping up as the supplier of high quality organic products such as meat, beef, honey meat, and dairy products.
