Malaysia, "World's 5th biggest aluminium exporter"
Malaysia is the world's leading aluminium exporter. Malaysia made record aluminium shipments during last year. According to the Malaysia import export data , over $7.8 billion worth of aluminium shipments were made during 2023. Malaysia's majority of the aluminium exports were mostly to India which accounted for over 54% of the country's total exports. Whereas, Vietnam was the second biggest importer of Malaysian aluminium products accounting for 17% share. Indonesia was the third biggest aluminium importer from Malaysia having 15% share. Malaysia's aluminium exports showed positive growth among Philippines, Nigeria, Bangladesh, Ukraine, Turkey, Pakistan and Zimbabwe market.
