Argentina's wheat exports to reach record high in FY 23
Wheat is an important agri export commodity of Argentina. Argentina is ranked the 7th largest exporter in the world. It covers over 6.4% of global wheat exports share. Around 60% of Argentina's wheat is exported. According to the Argentina import export data reports, around 11 million metric tonnes of wheat was exported during the financial year 2022. During this period, Argentina's wheat exports totaled 3.2 billion dollars. There was around 5% increase in Argentina's wheat exports as compared to last year's 2.75 billion dollars exports. As per Argentina customs data records, Brazil was the leading wheat importing country from Argentina with over 53% share of total imports. Whereas Chile, Morocco, Nigeria, Kenya, Indonesia, Ecuador, Algeria and Peru were other emerging markets for Argentina's wheat exports.
