Turkey's rebar exports declined by 55% in 2023

  Turkey is a major manufacturing hub. Turkey is among the list of top construction materials importers in the world. However, the rebar exports from Turkey are falling year by year. According to the Turkey customs data reports, the country's total rebar exports were valued around 5.6 million tonnes. The total worth of Turkey's rebar exports were estimated around 4.3 billion dollars with a decline of 11%. The major markets for Turkey's rebar exports were mostly Israel, Yemen, Canada, and the United States. As per Turkey export data , Israel was the leading market for Turkey's rebar exports in 2022. Around 1.1 million tonnes worth of rebar was exported by Turkey to Israel. It was 8.5% less as compared to the previous year. Second major Turkish rebar importer was Yemen during this period.   Cattle farming is the major practice in Botswana. Botswana's majority of the population rely on cattle farming for their living. According to the Botswana import export data reports, around 80 million dollars worth live animals and animal products were exported during the fiscal year 2021.  Botswana's exports of live animals and animal products increased by significant value. As per Botswana customs data of 2020, the country's animal exports were around 40 million dollars. South Africa has emerged as the major trading partner of  Botswana in terms of livestock exports.   Singapore is the major destination for poultry meat imports. Singapore does numerous amounts of poultry meat imports from various nations in order to fulfil its domestic market requirements. Singapore is currently the 28th biggest poultry meat importer in the world. According to the Singapore customs data reports, Singapore's poultry meat imports were estimated around 256 million dollars in the fiscal year 2022.  Brazil accounted for the maximum number of poultry imports from Singapore in the financial year 2022. As per Singapore import data , Brazil exported around 149 million kgs of poultry meat to Singapore. Earlier, the neighbouring country, Malaysia was the crucial supplier of chicken to Singapore.  According to the sources, it has over 34% share in Singapore's total meat imports. Ghana rice imports to fall by 12% in FY 2023

  Ghana is the 13th largest rice importer in the world. It is the third most imported product by Ghana. According to the Ghana import export data reports, around 560 million dollars worth of rice imported by Ghana during the financial year 2022. Ghana's total rice import shipments were estimated around 1.4 million metric tonnes during 2022. Whereas, the Ghana customs data of 2021 suggests that the total rice imports were totaled to be 552 million dollars. Ghana's most of the rice imports came from Vietnam. During the fiscal year 2022, Vietnam exported around 395 million dollars worth rice to Ghana. Vietnam held over 50% share of Ghana’s total rice imports. Thailand was the second major exporter of rice to Ghana. According to the Ghana import data , over 54 million dollars rice shipments were made to Ghana. Tanzania reduces its onion exports to Kenya

  Onions are the major export products of Tanzania. Tanzania does a significant amount of onion exports to its neighbouring countries like Uganda, Kenya, Burundi, etc. According to the Tanzania customs data reports, around 29 million worth onion exports shipments were recorded in the financial year 2021.  As compared to the last year Tanzania import export data of 2020, there was an increase of 35% in overall onion exports shipments of the country. In FY 2021, Tanzania's total onion exports shipments were estimated around 3.5 million dollars. The major contributors to the Tanzania onion exports were Uganda, Burundi, Comoros, Kenya, DR Congo, United Kingdom, Botswana, Oman, and Montenegro. Uganda holds the maximum share of Tanzania's onion exports contributing to over 95% share. The total value for Tanzania's onion exports to Uganda was over 3 million dollars in FY 2021. India is importing more crude palm oil from Thailand : Reports

  India has always been the crucial importer of palm oil. India makes tremendous amounts of palm oil imports in order to fulfil the cooking needs of its enormous population. Over the years, India's most of the palm oil shipments had come from Indonesia and Malaysia. Indonesia is the leading exporter and producer of palm oil in the world followed by Malaysia, Guatemala, Colombia and Papua New Guinea. Ever since the ban on palm oil imposed by Indonesia and Malaysia, the global market is facing the problems in getting the supply of edible oils. India is looking for other sources to fulfil its palm oil needs. China-Kazakhstan bilateral trade hit record $24 B in FY 2022

  China and Kazakhstan's trade is booming continuously. In 2023, it could reach new heights. Kazakhstan is working cooperatively with China to achieve bilateral goals. According to the China customs data reports, the trade between the two crossed over 24 billion dollars with an increase of 32% as compared to FY 2021. Pakistan to boost its food exports to Gulf countries

Pakistan's economy is struggling. Pakistan is facing the toughest time amid rising foreign debt. In order to reduce its trade deficit, it is focusing on restricting its imports and expanding exports.  According to the Pakistan import data reports, around 71 billion dollars worth exports were recorded during the fiscal year 2022. Whereas Pakistan's exports amounted to 30 billion dollars in the last year. Last year, Pakistan's trade deficit was around 48 billion dollars. Sri Lanka is known for its diverse quality of tea. For the financial year 2022, Sri Lanka was the second largest tea exporter globally after China. According to the Sri Lanka import export data reports, Sri Lanka tea exports amounted to 1.26 billion dollars in FY 2022. Amid political crisis, lack of fertilizers, the Sri Lankan tea production and exports have declined significantly. Whereas, Sri Lanka's 2021 tea exports were recorded to be 1.34 billion dollars. There was a decline of 12% as Sri Lanka's tea export shipments were around 250 million kilos while it was 286 million kilos in 2021. Although, there was minimal decline in Sri Lanka's tea exports but the demand for Ceylon tea was stable throughout the year. China steel exports all time high in FY 2023

  China is the leading steel exporting country in the world.  According to the China customs data reports, around 68 million metric tonnes of finished steel was exported from China during 2022. Annually, China's steel exports are growing at the rate of 1%. China import export data records suggest that South Korea was the leading destination for China's steel imports. During 2022, South Korea accounted for over 8.5 million metric tonnes of steel imports from China. South Korea contributed to over 13% share of China's total steel exports. The Second largest market for China's steel exports was Vietnam. Vietnam covered over 9% share of China's steel exports. Around 6 million metric tonnes of steel was imported by Vietnam from China in FY 2022.
