Poland-Pakistan Trade Hit Record $920 Million

  Over the years, the bilateral trade between Pakistan and Poland has prospered. Last year, Pakistan exports to Poland grew significantly. Pakistan customs data shows record $920 million trade between Poland and Pakistan. The most traded goods between Pakistan and Poland were house linens, scrap iron, coke, leather apparel, rice, and chocolates. According to Pakistan import export data , around $289 million worth of exports were made to Poland. There were over 13K shipments from Pakistan to Poland were recorded in fiscal year 2023. Non Knitted apparels, cotton fabrics, rice, textile materials, synthetic woven fabrics, gloves, and sesame seeds demand across Poland grew rapidly. Pakistan's rice exports hit record $2 Billion in 2023

  Rice is the main agricultural crop of Pakistan. It is the most prominent export of Pakistan. Pakistan stands 4th on the list of world’s leading rice exporters. According to Pakistan import export data reports, over $2.8 billion worth of rice exports were recorded during 2023. The major categories include milled, semi-milled, parboiled and basmati rice. As compared to $2.3 billion rice exports during 2022, there was a notable amount of increase in the rice exports from Pakistan. Pakistan's refined copper exports hit record $329 M in 2023

  Pakistan has a significant amount of copper reserve in its tank. Copper was among the most prominent exports from Pakistan during last year. According to Pakistan import export data , the country’s refined copper exports turnover was record $329 million in 2023. During March, the highest amount of growth is recorded in terms of Pakistan’s refined copper exports. It is estimated to be $48 million during March 2023. China was the biggest importer of refined copper from Pakistan as it was responsible for 98% of the country's overall refined copper exports. Among the fastest growing markets were the United Arab Emirates, Slovenia, Taiwan, Saudi Arabia and Canada.   Pakistan’s copper industry is underutilised. Last year, Pakistan’s copper exports saw significant growth. According to Pakistan import export data reports, the country’s overall refined copper exports to China reached $1 billion during the financial year 2023. China alone was responsible for over 99% share in Pakistan’s overall copper exports. Whereas, the United Arab Emirates was the second leading importer of refined copper from Pakistan. The UAE was responsible for over $999 thousand worth of copper imports from Pakistan. Slovenia, Taiwan, Saudi Arabia, Canada, Iraq and Uzbekistan were the fastest growing markets for Pakistan's refined copper exports.
