Italian Footwear Exports Hit Record $16 Bn in 2023

  Italy is the world's 3rd biggest exporter of footwear items. Italian leather footwear is popular among the global market. Last year, Italy's footwear exports went up by 21%. According to Italy import export data , the footwear exports of the country hit a record $16 billion. Italian footwear items saw huge demand from European and US markets.  France was the top importer of footwear items from Italy accounting for around $2.5 billion during FY 2023. Whereas, USA's footwear imports from Italy reached $1.6 billion in the past year. The fastest growing markets for Italian footwear exports were Germany, China, Spain and the United Kingdom.  Also, there was notable growth seen in the footwear exports to the Netherlands and Poland.  As per Italy export data , footwear exports across the Netherlands and Poland were estimated to be $440 million and $351 million respectively. Brazil's rising poultry industry : Stats & Figures

  Poultry farming is a major export revenue generating activity across the Brazilian market. Chicken meat is the main  poultry export of Brazil. Brazil was the leading chicken meat exporter during fiscal year 2023. According to Brazil  import export data reports, the country's chicken meat exports stood at around $9.7 billion during FY 2023. In 2023, Brazil's chicken meat exports volume reached around 5 million tons. In the recent month of March 2024, Brazil has shipped nearly 1.1 million of chicken meat in exports with export figures around $2 billion.  China was the leading market for Brazil's chicken meat exports as exports rose to 18%.  During FY 2023, China has imported nearly $1.5 billion worth of chicken from Brazil. Among the fastest growing markets for Brazil's chicken meat exports were Japan, United Arab Emirates and Saudi Arabia. Seara Alimentos, Leon International, and C Vale-cooperativa are some of the leading edible meat exporting companies from Brazil. 

Australia's Chemical Sector - Import Export Analysis

  Australia is a prominent chemical exporting destination in the world. Given its isolated demography, Australia is rich in various vital chemicals and earth metal minerals. Australia's key chemicals exports include aluminium, copper, zinc, and radioactive metals. Inorganic chemicals are the main exports of Australia. According to Australia import export data reports, the country’s inorganic chemicals exports were recorded to be $6.4 billion during fiscal year 2023. Although, Australia’s inorganic chemicals exports declined by 13% as compared to FY 2022. Bahrain was the leading destination for Australia's inorganic chemicals imports worth over $1 billion in 2023. India's Textile Market Outlook FY 2023-24

  India is the world’s 4th leading textile exporting country in the world. Although, India’s textiles exports declined by 4.4% last year. According to India import export data , the country’s overall textile exports were estimated to be around $32 billion for the fiscal year 2023-2024. These were mainly knitted, not knitted garments, cotton, silk, carpets, worn  clothes, etc.  The United States was the biggest market for Indian garments showing high demand in 2023. The USA accounted for 25% of India's overall textiles exports. India export data shows formidable growth in textiles exports to Bangladesh (8%), United Arab Emirates (5%), United Kingdom (4.6%) and Germany (4.5%).  Rupa & Company, Spica Group, Swasthik Clothings, Eastman Exports and Metro Atheisure were the top textiles export companies from India with record shipments last year. UK's beverages & spirits exports rose to $10.8 Bn in 2023

  The United Kingdom is the world’s 4th leading exporter of beverages and spirits. The United Kingdom is known for producing some of the finest alcoholic beverages and spirits in the world. During fiscal year 2023, UK’s beverages exports saw rapid growth. According to UK import export data , the country’s overall beverages exports stood at around $10.8 billion in the last year. These include wines, beers, mineral water, soda, vermouth, etc. Alcoholic spirits exports from the UK were record $8.5 billion in 2023. Export value wise, other major beverages exports from the UK were mineral waters ($705 million), grape wine ($621 million), beer ($574 million) and vermouth ($475 million). In 2023, the United States accounted for 17% of the UK's overall beverages exports. Chile exported record $7.08 Bn worth of fruits in 2023

  Chile is among the leading fruit exporting countries in the world. Fruit items drive 25% of Chile's total exports. Chile's key fruits exports are cherries, grapes, apples, dates, and nuts. The United States, China and Europe have emerged as the leading markets for Chile's fruits. Chile import export data shows record $7.08 billion worth of cherries exports during fiscal year 2023. Chilean cherries remained the most demanded fruits from Chile in the global market. It is derived from the fact that Chile exported over $2.5 billion worth of cherries last year. China was the biggest market for Chile's cherry's exports , responsible for around 84% share of the country's total cherry exports. The Chilean government is planning to further boost its cherry exports to China amid rising demand. Recent Chile export data suggest over $1.4 billion of fruits exports were made to China during FY 2024. There was over 30% increase in Chile’s exports to China in January 2024.

Croatia's fruits & vegetables market : Trade Analysis

  During the financial year 2023, Croatia's fruits exports registered 52% growth compared to FY 2022. As per Croatia export data reports, the country's fruits exports are estimated to be $138 million in 2023. Croatia's top fruits exports include citrus fruits, cashew  nuts, apples, apricots, bananas, grapes, melons, etc. Slovenia and Germany were the leading markets for Croatia's fruits exports with 28% and 18% respectively. The other prominent markets for Croatia's fruits exports were Italy, Serbia, Hungary and Bosnia & Herzegovina. Ledo Plus, Fresh Box, Frigo Bonsai and Setovia Voce were among the leading fruit export companies from Croatia. Whereas, Croatia's top fruits imports were bananas, citrus fruits, apricots, melons, dates, etc. According to Croatia import data reports, the country's fruits imports were mostly from Slovenia (28%), Germany (18%), Italy (11%), Serbia (5.5%) and Hungary (5%).   India is slowly becoming an export hub for leading smartphone giants like Apple, Samsung, Vivo, and Motorola. Smartphones companies are eyeing India as a potential market for smartphone exports. These companies are making hefty investments and setting their production in India.  According to India import export data , India registered around $10.9 billion during the financial year 2023. The United States has emerged as the leading market for India's smartphone exports as the sales jumped to $3.5 billion in the past year. This was very high growth in the smartphone exports to the USA as compared to $995 million in 2022.  Whereas, US import data shows the decline in its smartphone imports from China and Vietnam which was $5 billion and $9 billion respectively.   Japan is the 20th biggest textiles exporter in the world. Japan's overall textiles exports stood at around $8 billion in 2023. Whereas per Japan import data reports, the country's textiles imports are estimated to be around $24 billion with a decline of 8% compared to FY 2022. The key segments include silk, woollen, cotton, paper yarn, carpets, carpets, embroidery, laminated, knitted and  not knitted fabrics. According to Japan import export data , these products earned around $4.84 billion during the last fiscal year. In terms of export value, the top gainers were Synthetic textiles ($1.16 billion), Special Yarns ($953 million), Knitted fabrics ($874 million), Apparel & Clothing accessories ($481 million), Worn Textiles ($437 million), Cotton fabrics ($267 million), Woollen fabrics ($130 million), Silk ($26 million) and Paper Yarn ($15.9 million). Turkey's carpets & rugs exports were $494 Mn last year

  Turkey is among the leading exporter of carpets and rugs globally. It is among the most exported commodities from Turkey. According to Turkey import export data reports, the overall carpets and its textile floor coverings exports are worth around $2.6 billion during fiscal year 2023.  The United States was responsible for 28% market share of Turkey's overall carpet exports. Among the leading markets for Turkey's carpet exports were Saudi Arabia, Iraq, United Kingdom, Germany and the United Arab Emirates. Milat Carpet Industry, Empera, ESMA, and Valentis Home were the Turkish carpets export companies with a notable amount of shipments last year.  Among which Turkey’s knitted carpets exports were estimated to be $55 million in the last fiscal year. The United States was the leading destination for Turkey's carpets exports. The USA was responsible for around 50% of Turkey's overall knitted carpets exports. Along with the United States, Japan, Czech Republic, Italy and t
