  Thailand is among the top 10 fabrics exporting countries globally. According to the Thailand import export data reports, the fabrics exports from Thailand reached 7 billion dollars during the financial year 2022. Whereas, last year fabric exports from Thailand were estimated around 6.5 billion dollars.  That was around 4% more as compared to last year. Out of which, 1.2 billion worth textiles were exported from Thailand to ASEAN nations. These include fibres, readymade garments, and yarn. As per Thailand customs data , textiles were mostly exported to the United States, Japan, Russia, United Kingdom and China. Vietnam was the leading importer of textiles from Thailand with over 35% share of Thailand's total fabric exports. China was the second largest destination for Thailand textiles with over 25% share of imports. On the other hand, Thailand's fabric imports rose to 1.3 billion dollars during 2022.
