China's exports in May rose up to 7.5%

  According to the latest China import export data , Chinese exports grew by 7.5% during May 2024. That is very promising growth after the expected 6% growth. Cars and Integrated circuits were among the top gainers in terms of China's exports.  Whereas, rare earth metals, cellphones and fertilizers exports declined significantly in May.  China export data suggests around $302 billion worth of exports during May 2024. Compared to $292 billion worth of exports during April, there was a $10 billion rise in China's exports in May 2024. China’s car exports shipments went up by 16.8% during May. Whereas the integrated circuits exports rose up to 28%. In terms of hi-tech products exports, there was a rise of 8% and ships exports showed 58%  growth during May. China to raise its wine imports quota from Australia

  Australia and China have strengthened their ties over the past years. Last year, China imported a significant amount of goods from Australia. According to China import export data , the bilateral trade between the two has reached $212 billion in 2023. In which, Australia has dominated with more exports compared to China. As per China import data , China has imported over $125 billion worth of goods from Australia in 2023. Iron ore was the most imported item by China from Australia contributing to over 55% market share. Petroleum gas, gold and other minerals were other significant imports by China from Australia with 11%, 8% and 4.6% share respectively. Other major demanded Australian items in the Chinese market were copper, nickel, wheat, wool, meat, wine, etc. Australian wine sees rapid growth across the Chinese market. China replaces Japan as the world's leading automobile exporter

  As the demand for EV's increases so is the exports of vehicles from China. China has made record car exports during last year. According to the China customs data reports, over 4.9 millions of vehicles were exported in the last financial year. China has emerged as the world’s leading car exporter replacing Japan. Japan exported around 4.4 millions of  cars in 2023. These include cars, trucks and buses. China's vehicle exports surge to 72% while Japan's vehicles surge to 17%. Cars were the 20th most exported product from China. China's top car exports include EVs, fuel cell cars, and plug-in hybrids. China's automobile exports were double the exports compared to previous year.  Although, the top exporters were China's competitor companies, BYD and Tesla with their bases in Shanghai. China has emerged as the biggest market for Vietnam's fruits exports

  China is a prominent importer of fruits. The country is witnessing a rapid increase in fruit imports over the year amid growing demand. According to the China import export data reports, there was around 20% increase in the fruits imports from China during the financial year 2023. China's fruits imports were estimated to be around $18 billion in FY 2023.  These include fresh cherries, dragon fruits, macadamia nuts, bananas, cashew nuts, citrus fruits, melons, mangoes, pineapples and coconuts. Vietnam was the top fruits supplier to China accounting for the majority of fruits imports. Whereas, Thailand, Chile, New Zealand, Peru, Philippines, Cambodia, South Africa and Indonesia were other major markets preferred by China for fruit imports.  Being the biggest trading partner of China, Vietnam was responsible for $3.4 billion during fiscal year 2023. China's exports to Kyrgyzstan increased by 25%

  Kazakhstan has recently shown interest in the imports from China. Over the years, China and Kyrgyzstan bilateral trade and investment reached new heights. China customs data shows that the bilateral trade crossed over the $15 billion mark. The imports and exports between the two have increased by 102%.  During the financial year 2022, an investment of 1 billion was made between the two nations in which 22% share was from China only. According to the China import export data reports, Kyrgyzstan's share of imports from China increased by 25% this year around. Kyrgyzstan has imported over $6.8 billion worth of goods from China. Garments were the major imports made by Kyrgyzstan from China.  Among which non-knitted women's and men's coats were the top imports with over 20% share. China's imports of soybean from Brazil rose to 70% in October

  Although China is a prominent supplier of soybean in the global market, there were a hefty amount of soybean imports made by China. Brazil, which is the leading supplier of soybeans in the global market, has exported a noticeable amount of soybeans to China.   China import data shows that there was a 70% rise in the imports of soybeans from Brazil. Around 4.9 MMT of soybeans was imported to China from Brazil last year. Whereas, the shipment from the United States declined by 70% last month.  According to the China customs data , China has imported over 100 million worth of soybean from Brazil during this fiscal year. Sichuan Leshan Fuhua, Sino-Agri Red Sun Bio-technology, Fujian Huanong Food and Agrora were among the top China agri imports companies for that fiscal year. China's exports to Netherlands fell by 16% in FY 2023

  Over the years, the trade relations between China and the Netherlands have only strengthened. China customs data reports show that the overall trade between the two countries reached over $134 billion dollars during the fiscal year 2022 which is mostly dominated by Chinese exports. The most traded goods between China and the Netherlands were computers, optical instruments, electrical equipment, and medicines. According to China export data , China has exported around $118 billion worth of goods to the Netherlands during FY 2022. These include computers, telecommunication equipment, office machine parts, semiconductors, batteries, toys, video displays. The latest reports show that in the latest fiscal year, China exported over 72 billion euros worth of goods in the first six months of 2023.  Although there was a 2% decline in the imports by the Netherlands as compared to the last year. China's dragon fruits imports from Vietnam decline amid rise in production

  There is a huge craze for durian fruits, dragon fruits in China.This has been shown by the amount of imports that have been reported for dragon fruits in China. Vietnam is the top supplier of these fruits to China. According to the China customs data reports Vietnam has earned over $631 million from its dragon fruits exports to China during FY 2022.  Although, there was a significant decline of 37% as compared to the financial year 2021. Consequently, China’s dragon fruit imports are declining due to strict import duties. There was a 42% decrease in the exports of dragon fruits compared to FY 2021. The latest China import export data shows that China has cut down its dragon fruit imports from Vietnam by 30% in August 2023. Rise in Demand of Durian Fruit in Chinese Market

  Durian fruit is the most selling fruit in China. Over the years, the demand for durian fruits has increased in the Chinese market. Apart from Durian fruits, there was a surge in imports of bananas, coconuts, cherries, mangoes, dragon fruit, longans etc. According to the China import export data reports, China's fruit imports are worth around 15 billion US Dollars. The value for these imports rose by 8% and shipments volume  by 4% year on year. As per China customs data , around 7 MMT of fruits were imported in 2022. China import data for Durian fruits reflects that China is trying to slow down its durian fruits imports. For the fiscal year, there was a decline of 5% in Durian fruit imports.
