  Thailand is not only home to beautiful landscapes, stunning beaches, pleasant climate but also known for different varieties of fruits. Thailand is a well known market for fruit exports. Thailand has witnessed rapid growth during the last year. According to Thailand import export data reports, the Thai fruits exports hit a record $7.8 billion dollars during fiscal year 2023. It is expanding at the rate of 2.2%. Thailand’s most exported fruits items are durian fruits, pomegranates, betel nuts, tamarind, dragon fruit, guavas, mangoes, mangosteens, cashew nuts, coconuts, longan, and custard apple. Thailand export data shows that the country’s pomegranate exports accounted for 45% of the country’s overall fruits exports. Whereas, betel nuts were responsible for 11% market share.   According to the Thailand import export data reports, there were around 288 billion dollars worth of exports recorded by Thailand.  During this period Thailand's most prominent exports were machinery, mineral fuels, chemicals, crude materials, beverages, tobacco, animal, vegetable oils, and other major products. Machinery was the most exported product from Thailand with exports worth 4.3 Billion Thai baht. Mineral oils and fuels were the second most exported goods from Thailand with over 2165 billion Thai baht worth of exports in 2022. Whereas, as per Thailand customs data , manufacturing goods exports worth was estimated around 1270 Billion Thai Baht followed by Chemicals ( 1212 Billion Thai Baht) and Food Products ( 561 Billion Thai Baht).  The United States was the top destination for Thailand exports with over 15% share in Thailand total exports.   Thailand is among the top 10 fabrics exporting countries globally. According to the Thailand import export data reports, the fabrics exports from Thailand reached 7 billion dollars during the financial year 2022. Whereas, last year fabric exports from Thailand were estimated around 6.5 billion dollars.  That was around 4% more as compared to last year. Out of which, 1.2 billion worth textiles were exported from Thailand to ASEAN nations. These include fibres, readymade garments, and yarn. As per Thailand customs data , textiles were mostly exported to the United States, Japan, Russia, United Kingdom and China. Vietnam was the leading importer of textiles from Thailand with over 35% share of Thailand's total fabric exports.
