Russia To Boost Its Natural Gas Production Up to 100m Tons By 2030

 Russia is the number one natural gas exporter in the world. Around 85% of Natural gas was exported via pipeline and the rest was LNG. Currently, the LNG production stands at 33 M tons yearly. To give a major boost to its LNG exports, the Russian government is planning to enhance its LNG production up to 100 M tons per year by 2030.

According to the Russia customs data, Russia natural gas exports were around 202 billion cubic metres. While Liquefied Natural Gas exports were recorded to be 40 billion Cubic Metres. After Russia, the United States, Qatar and Norway are other major exporters of natural gas in the world. India is a major buyer of Russia’s Crude Oil

Machinery, Electrical Equipment, Vehicles, Plastics and Footwear are the major imports of Russia from China.
