Brazil's June exports crossed $30B
 During June 2023, Brazil's total exports were all time high. Brazil recorded the highest trade value during June 2023. As per Brazil customs data, the country's total trade value was around 40 billion dollars. There was around 11% increase in the exports of Brazil during the period.

According to the Brazil import export data, around 30 billion dollars exports were recorded for Brazil during June 2023. The top exports items were soybeans, iron ore, poultry meat, soybean meal, maize, etc. During this period, the major destinations for Brazilian exports were  China, United States, Argentina, Mexico and Netherlands.


In 2023, Brazil had a record harvest of soybeans. It was around 156 million tons this year. That results in the record soybean exports from Brazil this year. Experts are predicting the 23% increase in Brazil's soybeans exports. As per Brazil export data reports, around 13.8 million tonnes worth soybeans were exported during June 2023. Out of 1.1 MMT of soybeans were exported to Argentina while 150K MMT was exported to the United States during June 2023.


Also, the forecast for Brazil's maize exports is positive. Brazil is on the verge of becoming the top maize exporter worldwide. Brazil's maize exports are expected to increase by 8% in 2023.  These could result in the increase in imports from China, Iran, Egypt, South Korea, Spain and Japan. During April 2023, Brazil's corn exports accounted for over 147 million dollars. 


Brazil's poultry exports showed positive growth in 2023. During the first half, there was around 8.5% increase in the exports of poultry products from Brazil. As per Brazil trade data, around 5.2 billion dollars poultry exports were recorded from Brazil during the first half of 2023. Japan, United Arab Emirates, South Africa and Saudi Arabia were the top markets for Brazil's poultry exports.


On the other hand, our Brazil import data reports suggests that around 19.5 billion dollars worth imports were recorded by Brazil during June 2023. The United States, China, Argentina, Russia and Germany were the top trading partners of Brazil during June 2023.

The most imported commodities were petroleum products, vaccines, motor vehicles, and fertilizers.
