Brazil's green coffee export grew up to 18% in November

 
Brazil is known for producing quality coffee beans. It is the leading exporter of coffee across the globe. Brazil exports different varieties of coffee which includes green coffee, robusta coffee, and Arabian coffee. The latest Brazil export data shows record 18% growth in green coffee exports during November 2023. Around 4 million green coffee shipments were made during the last month.

On the other hand, Arabian coffee exports shipments from Brazil had declined by 3% to 2.8 million tons. The demand for Arabian coffee exports has been seen across Vietnam and Indonesian markets. Whereas robusta coffee exports had seen 600% increase in  shipments.


As per Brazil import export data, the country's green coffee exports were recorded to be $8.8 billion during FY 2022. Around 2.4 million tons of green coffee shipments were in the financial year 2022. Germany was the leading importer of green coffee shipments from Brazil responsible for over 28% market share. 


The United States was the second leading buyer having over 23% share in Brazil's coffee exports. Whereas, the green coffee exports increased to Italy, Belgium, Japan, Colombia, Turkey, Spain and Netherlands to a significant level. Also, Brazil was the prominent importer of green coffee. Brazil import data shows that the imports were mostly made from Vietnam with worth over $10 million during fiscal year 2022.


Being the leading coffee exporter, Brazil's overall coffee exports reached over $6 billion during the financial year 2022. The United States and Germany were the top coffee buyers from Brazil with coffee imports worth over $1 billion during fiscal year 2022. Belgium, Italy, Japan, Turkey, Russia, France and South Korea were the other major coffee importers from Brazil.


The United States, Germany and Japan were the fastest growing markets for Brazil's overall coffee exports. The latest Brazil customs data shows that around $800 million worth of coffee exports were made by Brazil during October 2023. Germany was the top destination for Brazil's coffee exports with over $125 million worth of exports followed by the USA, Italy, Belgium and China.


Whereas, coffee exports to the Netherlands, Syria and Venezuela have declined significantly. Olam Agricola and Atlantica Exportacao are the top coffee suppliers from Brazil.


Whereas, 60% of Brazil's overall coffee imports came from Switzerland. The United Kingdom was the second leading market for Brazil's coffee exports contributing to over 5.6% market share. There were some notable amounts of coffee imports from France, Germany, Spain, United States, Uruguay and Mexico. Tres Coracoes Alimentos, Farmer Brothers Coffee and EFX Importação are the top coffee buyers from Brazil.
